Column Addition Single Digit
Addition can be performed by drawing sticks equal to the digits in the question and then counting all the sticks together we get the desired result.
For example let us solve the question
In the figure below there are 2 blue sticks for the digit 2 and 4 yellow sticks for the digit 4
Adding the sticks together we get 6 sticks
Hence the answer is
